And should support more languages then just english
Contain also some additional library to extend auduio support (as default very limited ) to all most commune audio format
some more extra animation script
more clear and detailed instruction for install and use

Install is simple how double click on the installer, but there are some extra goodies included:
1) To start the best introductory tutorial for GAP written by Scott Bicknell (AC7ZZ) ...plus a copy of the official Doc
2)A selection from my collection of animation scripts of various authors,most hard to found because never added to the official gimp plugin registry. Now sorted in 3 group: Animated FX, Animated Logos and Utils (some of this Utils are very useful when working with many layers) Scripts are from Fenceposte, Saulgoode, LIMN, Gadget Wizard AKA Scott Mosteller ,Insanity Prevail
3) a plugin to create animated cursor by JamesH

The link isn't working because deviantart is screwing up the link (probably when forwarding). After you've been forwarded, you need to change the link from ftp// to ftp:// (they stripped out the colon). Then it should work.
This program appears to have been programmed for Gimp 2.6; it's no surprise that errors crop up when using it in a later version.
Considering the age of this script as well as the fact that its author hasn't been on this account in years, I doubt it's going to be updated any time soon, if at all. Shame. I've heard a lot of good things about it.
Since it's under GNU, it's also possible that it's been updated somewhere else. Who knows.
The procedure entry point gimp_drawable_get_thumbnail could not be located in the dynamic link library libgimpui-2.0-0.dll ....
