compiled for Windows by JamesH
Actually the installer went MIA , this contain my back up copy

Install is simple how double click on the installer, but there are some extra goodies included:

1) To start the best introductory tutorial for GAP written by Scott Bicknell (AC7ZZ) ...plus a copy of the official Doc

2)A selection from my collection of animation scripts of various authors, most hard to found because never added to the official gimp plugin registry.
Now sorted in 3 group: Animated FX, Animated Logos and
Utils (some of this Utils are very useful when working with many layers)
Scripts are from Fenceposte, Saulgoode, LIMN, Gadget Wizard AKA Scott Mosteller ,Insanity Prevail

3) a plugin to create animated cursor

For Windows XP and Gimp 2.8 worked at once (i have so far just tried the bluebox)

Install it to the main Gimp Folder, where the share and library folders are.

I've managed to add a video clip to a banner background but can't seem to get a text across (atop) the animation...
Also, I've tried to place a layer on top of an animation but I can't make it work, either.

I downloaded this and followed instructions on a different website and it ran perfectly fine. But when I open Gimp 2.8, it says something like "Gimp cannot open because your libwin-2.0-(something, something) is missing". WTH is going on?!

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, I have followed all of the instructions word for word and it is still not working for me.  I've even looked up videos on youtube, doing exactly what they did and I still got nothing.  My files are in order, and I made sure to save the GAP file with the GIMP file.  I have Windows 7, GIMP 2.8 and trying to use GAP 2.6.

I even tried GAP 2.4, also without success.  I also tried finding GIMP 2.6 to download and I haven't found that anywhere.  If anyone can help me it would be very much appreciated!

Hi,
I had the same problem- If you install Gap in the same folder as the gimp installation folder (for me, c/program files/gimp..) then it works and you will have a "video" menu.
Hope this helps
